As instructed by our client, Eaton & Associates were commissioned to act as the planning advisor for their development scheme, a garage extension to their residential property.
We were initially instructed to prepare a planning appraisal for the project, although were then instructed to prepare the submission documentation, including architectural drawings, to support a planning application.
Our support to the client in a planning advisory role was invaluable in helping to secure planning permission for the extension.
Conversion of a Dwellinghouse to 2 No. Self-Contained Apartments, Bristol

Eaton & Associates met with our client at the property to understand the development brief for the project and to discuss ideas to achieve the brief. Eaton & Associates were initially commissioned to prepare a planning appraisal for the project. However, we were later commissioned to act as the planning advisor and manager of the planning process and strategy, in the preparation, submission and negotiation of the planning application, and to provide a full architectural service; from the initial concepts through to the planning application stage.
Planning permission was successfully granted for this development.
Change of Use of a Mixed-Use Unit to Restaurant/Takeaway, Milton Keynes

As instructed by our client 2bw Studio, Eaton & Associates were commissioned to act as the planning advisor for their client's development scheme, the change of use of an existing unit within a local centre which had planning permission for a mixture of uses to Class A3/A5 use for a restaurant/takeaway.
Following the provision of initial guidance and advice to the client, we were instructed to prepare a Planning Statement to support a planning application for the project.
Planning permission was successfully granted for this development.

Planning Appeal - Extension to Dwellinghouse, Leicestershire

Current Status: Planning Permission granted at Appeal.
Following refusal of planning permission by Blaby District Council, for an extension to a dwellinghouse, our client instructed Eaton & Associates to appeal the decision. Following commissioning, we submitted a Planning Appeal to the Planning Inspectorate. The original refusal decision was successfully overturned and planning permission was granted, subject to conditions.
